KARL LAGERFELD invites Shin Tanaka to realise a special project at the Parcours Saint Germain: Paper Toy Mania.

The Parcours Saint-Germain is an artistic trail that takes place in Saint-Germain-des-Prés every year. Artists are invited to exhibit original pieces in luxury boutiques famous cafés and hotels. This artistic collaboration, which is representative of a non conformist world where each character has its own personnality, makes up a family inspired by different  movements and cultures from the urban world and KARL LAGERFELD iconography.

Shin Tanaka, is a Japanese artist from the street art, directly inspired by the imagery and culture of urban fashion married to the traditional art of origami.

The thing you don't know is that HMC is very interested in paper toys and that we were planning to do karl's one.....

IN A FOLDING SCREEN the first exhibition of one of our founders!

Eh yes, our blogers aren't only into fashion...
This week we went to visit our founder Ruben's first exhibition.
It was in a nice "salon de thé" called l'Autre thé in Paris 11 rue Lacharrière number 17.
In a folding screen will be visible till the 29th of December.

Yesterday night we visited one of the YIA galleries.

TOTEM, underground festival.

 
HMC has many interests and a lot of curiosity in order to surprise you every time.
Last 26th of September we were invited to the last edition of the biggest underground festival in France.
That happened at TOTEM in Nancy.
This festival joins all underground artists together from all over the world, from painters  to dancers and performers.
A nice experience with incredibly interesting and peculiar people.

Looved the afternoon we spend in Chelsea's galleries...Most of the galleries aren't as interesting as we expected but  some of them are very very good.

ALAÏA'S EXHIBITION the 28th of September!!!

The fashion museum Palais Galliera in Paris will celebrate Azedine Alaïa for the reopening season.
The 28th of September over 60 Alaïa dresses  will be exhibited at Galliera and if you have the time 7 creations will be placed at the "Salle Matisse" at the MAM ( Musée d'Art Moderne ) which is just next door.

CURIOT's MURALS

Curiot is a Mexican artist who mixes mural art and indigenous mythology.
We discovered him while we were looking for Prada's last show inspiration.
Probably it has nothing to do with it but we loved this images!If you live in Mexico City you probably see them every day.

Finally yesterday we went to see Lichtenstein's exhibition at the center Pompidou of Paris.
Very nice exhibition , we could appreciate the less famous sides of Roy's art.

L.A.M museum LILLE France. NAIVE ART!

Yesterday our friend Nini and we went to Lille , a very nice city in the north of France ( 1 hour far from Paris by train).
We heard about this museum outside the city called L.A.M so we went there!
We discovered an incredible collection   of art naive "art brut " and a special exhibition of naive artists juxtaposed with old  Indian  paintings and sculptures ( Corps subtiles ).
Absolutely lovely!
